Domestic and international promotion of circular economy

To achieve the goal of "Resource Circulation towards a Sustainable Taiwan", this project has promoted the restriction of plastic using policy and the circular economy issues of second raw materials application, green production & consumption and construction & demolition waste circulation. We initiate and organize lots of consultations, press meeting, activities, campaign and the green consumption of plastic reduction, carbon reduction and air pollution reduction, which were all strongly and continuously released on TV, press and the social media. Regarding to the ‘circular economy’ concept which EPA valued, we assigned senior journalist team to attend our international visit in Japan and released the series of news reports “Circular Economy, highlight of Taiwan” on TV. Moreover, commercials about circular economy and plastic restriction policy were released on TV, press and the social media, especially the paper ads were published with the 5th Sustainable Materials Management International Conference 2018 on 21th Nov. Through the multi-dimensional discussion of domestic and international experts, we could improve the concern of plastic management strategies and the support of plastic circular economy. In addition, the English translation of 30s and 90s Circular Economy CF were completed by the expert team of Formosa Television and spread on the Youtube channel. The souvenirs which remade by ocean plastic and variety of recycled materials were all checked and used in circular economy visit of Japan, WCEF2018, 11th WPRPW, OECD, European Innovation Week 2018, the 5th Sustainable Materials Management International Conference 2018 and the bilateral consultation meetings between Taiwan and other countries. Moreover, to deal with emergency cases, we also provide services in press release, hosting visiting of foreign countries and media monitoring. And our stationed staff also assists the plan with high quality and efficiency. In this domestic and international marketing promotion of circular economy project, we make good use of media advertisements, marketing strategies, influential people, and activities to promote the circular economy awareness in public. In the last part of conclusion and suggestion, we also analyze the efficiency and effectiveness of the project. Hopefully to provide much feasible and innovative strategies for marketing promotion of circular economy to the next year.
